Thanks to all who we chatted with and listened to the Internet radio broadcast. We hope you enjoyed the race. But most of all, thanks to the champs, the parents, the friends, the volunteers, and our sponsors who make the All American Soap Box Derby the Greatest Amateur Racing Event in the World!

All American Soap Box Derby Race Week Overview

On July 25, 2005, we will welcome nearly 500 champions and their families – the largest increase in numbers in derby history -- to Akron, Ohio for a weeklong celebration. This year’s crop of local winners, representing 43 states and three foreign countries will compete at legendary Derby Downs on July 30 for the title of AASBD World Champion.

As always, there will be plenty of activities and entertainment off the track with the Summit Racing Equipment Car Show, that will be held on Race Day, Saturday, July 30. The Show will be located behind the grandstands at Derby Downs.

We hope you enjoy this race week website. Good luck to all of the champions and their families.
