Directions to Derby Downs - Akron, Ohio Approaching from the North o Route 8 South to I-77 South (central interchange) o I-77 South to Route 224 East (Mogadore Exit) – please note: this is a left lane exit o Route 224 to the first traffic light – George Washington Blvd. o Left on George Washington Blvd o AASBD Topside buildings are at the top of the hill on George Washington Blvd. o If you wish to go to AASBD Headquarters –take the left hand turn onto Derby Downs Drive from Route 224 East right before the George Washington Blvd. traffic light (there are AASBD shield signs directing you towards this access road). Follow Derby Downs Dr. until you see the grandstands on your left hand side. Headquarters is the white brick building to the left of the grandstands. Approaching from the South o I-77 North to Route 224 East (Mogadore Exit) o Route 224 to the first traffic light – George Washington Blvd. o Left on George Washington Blvd o AASBD Topside buildings are at the top of the hill on George Washington Blvd. o If you wish to go to AASBD Headquarters –take the left hand turn onto Derby Downs Drive from Route 224 East right before the George Washington Blvd. traffic light (there are AASBD shield signs directing you towards this access road). Follow Derby Downs Dr. until you see the grandstands on your left hand side. Headquarters is the white brick building to the left of the grandstands. Approaching from the East o I-76 East to the Market St/Mogadore Rd. Exit o At the bottom of the ramp turn left onto East Market St. o At the Second traffic light turn right onto Hilbish Rd. o Continue straight - at the third traffic light (Triplett Blvd), Hilbish Rd. name changes to George Washington Blvd. o If you wish to go to AASBD Headquarters, take the first right after Triplett Blvd. onto the access road (AASBD sign in the middle of the road). AASBD Headquarters is at the bottom of this access road – white brick building. o If you wish to go to Topside, follow George Washington Blvd. to the top of the hill. Topside is on your right. Approaching from the West o I-77 South to Route 224 East (Mogadore Exit) o Route 224 to the first traffic light – George Washington Blvd. o Left on George Washington Blvd o AASBD Topside buildings are at the top of the hill on George Washington Blvd. o If you wish to go to AASBD Headquarters –take the left hand turn onto Derby Downs Drive from Route 224 East right before the George Washington Blvd. traffic light (there are AASBD shield signs directing you towards this access road).
