News from the 69th All American Soap Box Derby
It is our pleasure to announce the state winners in the 2006 Levi Strauss Signature® Family of the Year program which recognizes families who have demonstrated the core values of both the brand and the All-American Soap Box Derby (AASBD). As a state winner, the representing families will receive a plaque as a symbol of this honor and will be considered for the national Levi Strauss Signature Family of the Year award. The national Family of the Year will be named by Levi Strauss Signature brand and AASBD officials from a group of 12 regional finalists across the country. The 12 regional finalist families will each receive a wardrobe courtesy of Levi Strauss Signature jeans. The national Family of the Year will be awarded an all-expense paid trip to the 2006 All-American Soap Box Derby Championship presented by Levi Strauss Signature brand, held on July 22, 2006 in Akron, Ohio, where they will be announced and honored during championship ceremonies. Again, on behalf of the Levi Strauss Signature brand and the All-American Soap Box Derby, we congratulate the state winners and thank you for your continued dedication to the derby and support of your community.
