HEAT RESULTS for 2009 Soap Box Derby World Championships

The Ultimate Speed Division is an All-American Soap Box Derby racing format developed to preserve the tradition of innovation, creativity, and craftsmanship in the design of a gravity powered racing vehicle. The goal of this event is to attract creative entries designed to reach speeds never before attainable on the historic Akron hill. The competition in this division is different than the other races at the All-American. Each team makes three timed runs (one run in each lane) First, second, and third place determined by a team's best single run overall elapsed time from start to finish line.
